“Tô Págsallap Kató Álló Ka Dabó (When The Sun Sets Over Dávao)” is Adrian Lo’s sophomore independent historical fiction short film that imagines the story of a young Bagobo-Tagabawa comfort woman who is forced by an Imperial Army officer to summon an ancient deity from her tribe’s pantheon in the hopes of using its powers to advance the Japanese Empire's interests.
